WHEN AND WHERE?
This full day workshop will take place on March 28, 2026 in New York City.
FOR WHO?
This workshop is for professional theatre makers who identify as choreographers and/or dancers. It is open to both disabled and non-disabled participants.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE?
For choreographers to learn how to efficiently assist the disabled dancer(s) in adapting their choreography without losing the initial artistic integrity or dynamics.
For dancers to become intimately aware of their body's needs and learn to communicate what’s
possible with the choreographer in a quick, confident, and collaborative way.
HOW MANY SLOTS?
So that each choreographer gets a full hour work session, this workshop is open to just 4 choreographers.
The number of dancers is slightly less restrictive, but will not exceed 15 due to the vulnerable nature of the work.
HOW MUCH?
$199. Payment plans welcome.
Some scholarships available.
Please fill out this form in order to apply. Applications close March 25 at 11:59pm EST.
